This beautiful glass disc suncatcher is a lovely way to remember those you've loved and lost.  Hang it with 20lb fishing line or a thin ribbon/cord (not provided.)

How It's Made

This beautiful suncatcher is hand crafted with care by Scott.  The process starts by gathering molten glass onto a blowpipe.  Once the color is melted in the molten glass is carefully rolled through the cremains to incorporate them into the memorial.  A final layer of glass is then added safely encasing the cremains.  A bubble is blown into the glass, which is then shaped in an optic mold and twisted. 

The bubble is then flattened and deflated creating a beautiful light refraction as the design crisscrosses through the layers of glass.  Lastly the piece is placed in an annealer to cool down slowly overnight before it finds its way to its loving home.
